Privacy Policy
Effective April 22, 2026
KVA di Andreas Zanin (VAT 01199720077, REA AL-266378, Italy) — "we", "us", "our" — built Futures Tick Calc (the "App") to be fast, useful and respectful of your data. This page explains, in plain language, what information the App collects, why, and what we never do with it.
What the App stores on your device
All calculations happen on-device. Your inputs, your watchlist, your saved setups and your preferences are kept locally in the App's sandboxed storage. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them (for example, by copying a result).
What we collect
- Diagnostics: if the App crashes, the operating system may share an anonymised crash report through the App Store or Google Play. These reports contain stack traces, not your trading data.
- Advertising (free tier only): Google AdMob and its authorised advertising partners request a limited, device-level advertising identifier — the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) on iOS and the Google Advertising ID on Android — to serve ads, measure their performance, and, depending on your consent (see Advertising and your consent), to personalise them. You can reset or disable this identifier from your device's system settings at any time. Pro subscribers see no ads at all.
- Subscription status: when you purchase Pro, the App Store or Google Play tells the App whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your name, payment details or email address from this process.
- Support requests: if you email [email protected], we receive whatever you send us and keep it only long enough to help you.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask you to create an account.
- We do not track which contracts you calculate, which setups you save, or what you type.
- We do not sell your personal information, and outside the ad-serving flow described below we do not share it with third-party data brokers.
- We do not build behavioural profiles about you.
Third-party services
The App uses these services, each with their own privacy policy:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: handle the purchase and subscription lifecycle.
- Google AdMob (free tier only): serves banner and interstitial ads through Google and its authorised ad technology partners under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2). The current list of partners that may process your data for advertising is published by Google at support.google.com/admob/answer/9012903.
- RevenueCat: verifies and reconciles your subscription status with the stores.
Advertising and your consent
The first time you open the free tier, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) shows you a consent screen appropriate to the region your device reports:
- In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, the screen lists the processing purposes (storage of information, personalisation, measurement) and the ad technology partners involved, and lets you accept or reject each category separately.
- On iOS worldwide, Apple's App Tracking Transparency dialog additionally asks whether the App may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. Without that permission your IDFA is unavailable and all ads fall back to non-personalised serving.
- In US states with applicable privacy laws (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Montana and others as they come into effect), a notice explains your right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.
If you accept, the App and its ad partners may use device-level identifiers to serve ads tailored to you and to measure their performance. If you reject, ads are still shown — they are required to keep the free tier free — but they are non-personalised, meaning they are based only on the context of the page you are looking at, not on a profile of you.
You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad preferences inside the App (shown wherever the law requires a re-entry point). Upgrading to Pro removes all ads entirely.
Notifications
The App may ask for permission to send push notifications (for example, to remind you about a saved setup or announce a new contract). Notifications are opt-in and can be turned off at any time from your device's system settings.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR / FADP). We rely on the following lawful bases: contract for providing the App and Pro features; legitimate interest for anonymised diagnostics and basic, non-personalised ad measurement; and consent for personalised advertising and related tracking (which you can withdraw at any time through the mechanism described under Advertising and your consent). You have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
United States (state privacy laws). If you reside in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, Oregon, Texas, Montana and others as they come into effect — you have the right to know what personal information is processed, to access or delete it, to correct inaccuracies, to opt out of targeted advertising and of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. The advertising opt-out is delivered through the UMP screen described above and through Settings → Ad preferences.
To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected].
Your choices
- Open Settings → Ad preferences inside the App to review or withdraw consent for personalised advertising (shown in regions that require a re-entry point).
- Reset or disable your advertising identifier in your device settings.
- Revoke notification permissions in your device settings.
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
- Cancel your Pro subscription from the App Store or Google Play at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
